We have heard that there might be a requirement for “primary retail banks” in DK that; if a customers has used MitID for logging in to their internet bank once, then that customer can no longer/ is not allowed (blocked) to use NemID in that bank from then on. Do you know if that correct?
Answer:
This is correct. Once you have activated your MitID, you cannot perform any bank functions with NemID anymore.
That is not to say your NemID cannot be used for other purposes - web shops, insurance portals, utility companies, etc. have no such stipulation.
