Question:
If I want to enable NemID for my customers, but my company doesn’t have a Danish CVR number - can you help us set that up? Or is NemID for Danish companies only?
Answer:
At the time of writing, you can apply to become an International NemID Service Provider. This is an agreement between you and Nets DanID, and has a greater startup cost than regular NemID, but behaves like any other NemID integration once onboarding is complete. Please note that the issuance process for the merchant certificate has a lot more manual steps than a regular NemID onboarding, so the process might take 3-4 weeks, all told.
